SAIT Awards Established
June 2005. The Canadian Institute of Hydrocarbon Measurement has established a student award scholarship in each of the Petroleum Engineering Technology and Instrumentation Technology Programs at SAIT. Each award is for $1000 each and include attendance at CsHm in Calgary, AB.
SAIT Instrumentation Engineering Program Award
Fund No: 16072
Number of Awards: One awards annually. This is a minimum three year pledged commitment.
Award Value: $1,000 + admission to the Canadian School of Hydrocarbon Measurement (CSHM) two day event.
Criteria for Selection:
• Entering second year of the Industrial Instrumentation Technology program
• Academic achievement with minimum GPA of 2.3.
• Demonstrated interest in the field of petroleum measurement and metering
Application Process:
• Program specific awards are department nominated awards. Students should apply directly to the Program Coordinator or the Academic department’s Administrative Assistant.
Selection Process:
• The department will determine the student award recipient based on the criteria outlined.
Special Notes:
• Aspects of the agreement that fall outside of the traditional criteria (i.e. invite to association luncheon). Note: In such cases the Alumni Relations Department will supply the donor with the award winner(s) telephone number in order that the donor can make arrangements to invite the award recipient(s) to a donor luncheon, event, or ceremony.
